Pedro Virgil’s highly designed photographs depict football stars with bodies trained to perfection. In Gods of Sport he aesthetically “soiled” his models and placed them in magically dark surroundings; this time we see these superstars in naturally bright ambiences. His models are tight with tension, his photos are well thought thru, composed, and styled – nothing is left to chance. Virgil has only one single aim: erotic tension.
